ذات مرة ، كان هناك أرنب فخور جدًا بسرعته. كان يحب التباهي بمدى سرعته في الجري وغالبًا ما يتحدى الحيوانات الأخرى في السباقات. 

في أحد الأيام ، سمعت سلحفاة أرنب يتفاخر وقررت أن تتحداه في سباق. قبل الأرنب التحدي ، معتقدًا أنه سيكون فوزًا سهلاً.

وصل يوم السباق وتجمعت جميع الحيوانات للمشاهدة. كان الأرنب واثقًا جدًا من أنه سيفوز توقف لأخذ قيلولة في منتصف السباق ، معتقدًا أن لديه متسعًا من الوقت للتغلب على السلحفاة البطيئة الحركة.

The tortoise and the hare

Once upon a time, there was a hare who was very proud of his speed. He loved to brag about how fast he could run and would often challenge other animals to races. One day, a tortoise overheard the hare boasting and decided to challenge him to a race. The hare, thinking it would be an easy win, accepted the challenge.

The day of the race arrived and all the animals gathered to watch. The hare was so confident that he stopped to take a nap halfway through the race, thinking he had plenty of time to beat the slow-moving tortoise. But the tortoise kept moving steadily and eventually crossed the finish line while the hare was still asleep.

The hare was ashamed of his defeat and apologized to the tortoise for underestimating him. From then on, he learned to be more humble and to never underestimate his opponents. The moral of the story is "Slow and steady wins the race."
